Administers county purchasing policies; supervises procurement and maintains records of all
supplies and equipment for county use; maintains central supply point; stocks and maintains
inventory of selected high usage items.
MISSION
The mission of the Pickens County Purchasing Department is to maximize the purchasing
value of public funds, safeguard the quality and integrity of the procurement system and to
provide fair and equitable treatment to all parties involved in public purchasing with Pickens
County.
